Mister International 2014: Interview with Izuchukwu Anoliefo

Q: How would you describe your personality?
A: I am loving, kind, good hearted, easy going, calm, a fast learner, slow talker, quiet but knowledgeable, strong in the inside and outside... Above all, I am a great motivator and doesn't give up easily.

Q: What would you like to accomplish in Mister International 2014?
A: I want to go out there and win Mister international in Korea, make myself and my country proud.


Q: Name your favorite sports team.
A: The Germany World Cup football team. I enjoyed watching them. They were disciplined, creative, understanding and determined.

Q: If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
A: It would be my strong emotion and affection towards people. It's so strong that all I think of is how to make people better. It's so much that people get embarrassed by my love and care. Unfortunately, I cannot change that because it's who I am. I give and show love as much as I can.


Q: Do you think that racism still exists today?
A: Racism has actually diminished, there are a lot of competitions that has brought the world together, a great pageant like the Mister International, a sport event like the FIFA World Cup and the Olympics, these have all helped to bring many countries together. Racism to me is a thing of the past. We are one heart... one world!

Q: What place in the world would you most like to visit? Why?
A: New York, United States of America. I would love to grace the street of New York at night, I see it in movies and I love it.


Q: Who is your role model?
A: My role model is world best male black supermodel Tyson Beckford. He is black and proud and has motivated me a lot with his works. He is over 40 and yet his works are still great.

Q: Facebook or Twitter?
A: Facebook is fun for me, not on Twitter yet.


Q: Book or magazine?
A: I prefer books to magazine. I am a writer and the author of 12 Secrets of Looking Great. A good book takes you to a world of great knowledge.


Q: Message to your supporters and fans.
A: I love you all, this is an avenue to touch lives and let people know that no matter where you are, what you are going through, your challenges and weaknesses... Always remember there is light at the end of the tunnel, the road may not be smooth but you do be proud of your destination. Let us don't forget that our happiness lies in putting smile on our neighbour's faces. A little act of love can save a life, a family and an entire nation.
