If competition were held today, Miss Universe 2011 would be the 11th lowest of all time

If competition were held this evening, the 60th edition of the Miss Universe contest would be the 11th with a smaller number of candidates in its history. With 29 candidates already elected or by vote, the tie with Miss Universe 2011 Miss Universe 1967 in the number of candidates: 56.

The comparison made by the editorial staff of TV in Critical Analysis, shows the degree of detachment of several national coordination in relation to Miss Universe, then the year of its 60th consecutive year. And, worse, held in São Paulo, Brazil.

Representatives of the Enter-Entertainment Experience has until March 15 to submit to the Miss Universe Organization the list of sites to serve as headquarters of the various preliminary stages of the competition in the state capital. Meeting this deadline is a prerequisite for the country to continue with the right to host the event.

Until the closing this note, 20 national and regional coordinators closed the dates of their contests, including that of Miss Brazil. Four other official date has not yet closed. Of a total of 83 countries that participated in the Miss Universe 2010, 27 are at risk of being out of contention unless they submit their candidates or run their competitions until July 31. Shipments of missions to Brazil must take place in the first half of August, before the official program of the Miss Universe 2011.
